VISA Power is focused on the development, ownership and operation of thermal power projects with 2,520 MW projects (Chhattisgarh and Orissa) under execution and 5,280 MW projects under planning.

The Company is at an advanced stage of executing the projects at Chhattisgarh and Orissa.

VISA Power is in the process of establishing itself as a leading player in the industry by setting up five independent power plants.

Projects under execution:

• 1,200 MW pit-head based IPP in Chhattisgarh
• 1,320 MW pit-head based IPP in Orissa

Projects under planning:

• 2,640 MW pit-head based IPP in Jharkhand
• 1,320 MW pit head based IPP in Madhya Pradesh
• 1,320 MW port based IPP in Gujarat using imported coal

The Company has executed contracts with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, for supply of BTG sets and with L&T Power Limited for the Balance of Plant for its 1,200 MW Project in Chhattisgarh.

The Company is actively working on investment opportunities in Indonesia, South Africa and Australia to meet the fuel requirement for its Gujarat project.

VISA Power has also secured a power trading license from the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC).
